Another mega session at Hove. I turned up at Shoreham just after 11 and it looked fun, but wind was dying fast. Saw a few little rides, but it eventually dawned that it had swung more west and there was a big wind shadow. Packed up without getting wet and headed to Hove. Where it was side shore and full wind strength. Rigged the 5.5m to be safe and it was way too much, but straight out and caught a few solid head high down the lines. Changed down to 5m ezzy and that was spot on, huge waves again. Easy 10 foot swell half a mile out, but steepening up for monstrous bottom turns. You could gybe on the face of the biggest swell and it would almost pitch you out with the lip, before easing back to leave a smooth wall to turn, cut back, turn etc

Then wind kicked in again and eventually I changed down to a 4m Ezzy (the dream sail in the quiver) and had another half hour fully powered up in ever increasing swell. Waves on the inside were probably 5-6 foot faces, double that further out.
